Trial Run Results for Three Types of Whip Antennas

FR24 uses a fair amount of CPU. You should probably decide on one MLAT by one of the networks, don't run multiple on the Pi0. It will only result in bad MLAT.

RPi are easy ... if it's a Buster install the same sd-card will work on the Pi4 even. You could stop your FR24 feed for example :)

The FA stats are somewhat complicated. It seems your MLAT isn't working properly. That could hint at a power supply issue for example. But the number of aircraft is very close to the FlightFeeder guy. The position number indeed has to do with aircraft on the ground. Not much you can do about...

2-3% ... is not statistically significant. Different atmosphere pressures/temperatures alone will change the geometric height of the flight levels. Then you have changing propagation depending on moisture in the air and air temperature. It's quite normal to get some variation with weather...

    RTL1090

WiFi via USB? Only when you have the SDR plugged in? Fixing WiFi problems is really hard. Unless it's reception issues, then there isn't much you can do except relocate the base station or computer. (well and get a better WiFi device can also work)

Either they don't transmit position (unlikely that's the case for all) or your reception of those aircraft is too bad to get a position which needs 2 position messages within 10 seconds.

http://edjjgmzm.p72.rt3.io/graphs1090/ So what's the issue with the above link? Just add /graphs1090/ to the URL. No need to look at your router :)

No i mean via this remote stuff ... In regard to the configuration: If you have the html folder at /, then you want the run folder at /graphs Also really no need to have the html folder at / and /graphs1090, make it either or.

well do proper port forwarding with dynamic dns then ... I won't support an additional port at this time. It's not that hard but i hate making a work around for some stupid software. You can always add it yourself if you understand lighttpd configuration. (which might sound harsh as i'm aware...

You can just go to /graphs1090, i'm not sure what your issue with requiring a separate port is. I can't think of a reason why a graphs update would cause data loss. Lots of people update the graphs without issue, no guarantees though!

You can just make port 80 available to use graphs1090. The 2 hour graphs don't display any less information than the 1 hour graphs, you can still see every single value recorded.

the v3 is a solid receiver combined with a filtered LNA, not that useful without. the prostickplus is a good receiver standalone or with some input filtering. you can also make it work with an amplifier before it but it brings its own amplifier and that can lead to overloads when combined with...

A 10 Ohm resistor is much less noisy than a buck converter to reduce the 5V to 4.5V Doesn't have to be exact anyway.

New antenna location and polar range rings

It's not a range ring, but the graphs are still useful for comparisons: https://github.com/wiedehopf/graphs1090#graphs1090
