I wandered out into the garden this morning just after 9:00 UTC, looked up and saw this
By the time I'd got the camera the trail had begun to disperse but it went on for miles. I sat for another hour with the camera but didn't see anything similar.
The flight was heading West to East from my place towards Heathrow but it was too high to be landing there. Anyone else see it?
It might have been KLM751 at 39,000 feet
[Edit] I've just found this https://www.metabunk.org/threads/sinusoidal-thin-contrails-explained-solitary-hybrid-contrails-the-rook-instability.4539/
