I installed the Plane Finder App on my Android phone which works great apart from the augmented reality feature. It starts but doesn't do anything. I subsequently found out that my phone (a Moto G4) doesn't have a compass sensor so I presume that is the reason. I recently installed the app on my new Samsung Tab S4 which does have a compass sensor and that doesn't work either. On trying to open augmented reality, I get the error message "Augmented reality is not supported on this device". Could someone please explain why.
