Banners on map

I have suddenly acquired two banners one of which is Trending Flights. Can I get rid of them?

Yes, they're a pain where they are, it would have been better to place them bottom left in line with the banner on the bottom right. It's just another ruse to get you to pay, as all but one of the "Map focus" labels are locked out.

As for "trending", the default should be minimised not maximised. Having said that, do we really need "trending" on this site?
