New member on board from the UK .....Just had to join this forum...did'nt know it existed even though I've had planefinder on my mobile for a couple of years.....the new upgrade is well excellent.
Always had an interest in airliners and especially whats overflying the house....stems from being a planespotter in the early 1970,s living not far from the main approach into Heathrow, watching Japan Air Lines DC 8's overflying the house and getting the reg numbers of the bottom wing.
And the overflys which I picked up on the VHF radio coming across from America to Europe where they used to estimate Lands End at say 10.o3 Dover at 10.11......magic days
Now live in East Anglia.....still plenty of overflys......PF has been a godsend.....well happy
