Plane Finder Client New Version! 3.3.222

Hi Chris,
I can see that your feed is working.
We'll just push out an update to the client on the BBB.
I'll send you the required info by email when done.
Cheers,

Hi, I have been sharing my data with FR24 for a long time now and thought I would share with PF. I run Windows XP but 3.3.222 displays a message on installation that XP is not supported. Is there a client I can use or is it a case of not being able to share with PF?
Thanks

Hello,

I'm afraid we don't support Windows XP.

Lee,

In my log, I get a few of these errors scattered throughout the day ...

Failed to parse response from Plane Finder server: HTTP/1.1 502 Bad Gateway

...are they anything to worry about?

Martin

Depending on what version you were on before there are a ton of improvements! We also extract some extra data from the Mode-S data that we didn't before

Dear Lee, i am getting this error contentiously. Now going back to older version. No time to R&D on this issue. Previous version was absolutely fine.

Please do not downgrade. I think the errors are a coincidence. It appears whatever you are connecting to is refusing the connection!

We have over 750 already upgraded and working fine with a wide range of configurations.

Older versions will be blocked in the coming weeks.

Dear Lee,

Errors seems not to be coincidence. I updated another PF, that shows little different type errors.

Already downgraded 90 minutes before & its running smoothly without any error in 30003 port. As i know you don't wanted to run in that port. Yet its just a test configuration. And also i know in future older client will not remain active. Every updates comes to me as a R&D victim. So now i am happy with older one. When you will tell it will work fine, then i will update.

Thanks,
Zahidul Hasan.

Thank you.

I wonder if this is a low traffic time? If you click the link at the top of the log to enable verbose logging display you will see.

Dear Lee,
I dont know which number is low traffic time ! Here is the hourly calculation of yesterday flight number. I got this data from FA, feeding from same dump1090.

When the problem started, that time it sent 156 packets in 5 seconds to PF server.

Those aren't related at all as are so far apart.

The old client had this exact behaviour too, Dump1090 sent us an empty response so we disconnected. It wouldn't let us reconnect at all for some time. Suggest you look at your Dump1090 code
