PlanePlotter version 6.4.1.0 is now available for download:

http://www.coaa.co.uk/planeplotter6_4_1.exe

It is really easy to share your data with Plane Finder. You can find this via --> Options--> Share -->Setup
Please let us know that you are doing this and also please don't forget to ask for some free apps!

You can install the new version over the old one but you must close/exit PlanePlotter before installing the new one. All settings are preserved. If you receive a message saying that the installer is unable to replace planeplotter.exe, it means that PP is still running so need to be closed.

New in version 6.4.1.0
  • controllable SMU clock calibration tolerance
  • suppress ACARS ADS lookup when no Adsid
  • show route in the SPI report
  • log TCP client auto restarts
  • setup wizard for the dongle via RTL1090 and RPi/dump1090

Hi Mark

As a feeder into the system, I was wondering if there is any plan to include the feeder source ID into the aircraft data box when selected. Right now there seems to be no way to identify the data source. This info is not only gratifying to see but really helps to understand the effectiveness/accuracy of the sharer node. My thinking is more would be interested in feeding if there was some sort of feedback or additional feature set in return for contributing. Perhaps there is and I may be missing it?

Thanks,
D.

Hi there,

You haven't missed anything - it isn't there!

Thanks for raising this and for explaining your reasoning.
We can see that this is a good idea too and we will add this capability.

I'll let you know when we have this ready.

Thank again for sharing your data.

Mark

Hi Mark

Just wondering about the status of feeder ID inclusion and a way to see personal feeder stats... any progress?
